Who is responsible for your information

What we collect

We collect information in two ways.

Information you submit

When you send us an enquiry - through the form on this site, or by email or WhatsApp - we receive the details you provide. Through the form these may include your name, company, business email address, country, telephone or WhatsApp number, the product or requirement you are asking about, quantity, technical requirements, a message, and any file you choose to attach.

We ask for this information because it is what allows us to answer an industrial enquiry accurately. We do not ask for payment details, identity documents or any other sensitive category of personal data, and we would ask you not to send them.

Information recorded automatically

The web server hosting this site records standard technical access information, which normally includes the IP address the request came from, the time of the request, the address requested and the browser identification string. This is used for the security and availability of the site - for example, to detect abusive traffic - and for aggregate statistics on which pages are being used.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set advertising or analytics cookies, and does not run third-party tracking scripts. There is nothing to consent to because nothing is being tracked across sites. If this changes, this policy will be updated before the change goes live.

What we use your information for

• To answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation.
• To provide technical selection support relevant to your requirement.
• To arrange and document a resulting order, including shipping documentation.
• To maintain a commercial record of the enquiry and any order that follows.

We do not sell, rent or trade your information, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Who else sees it

Enquiries reach our sales mailbox and are read by the people who need to answer them. Where a technical question has to be confirmed with the manufacturing partner supplying the goods, we share the technical requirement with that partner - normally range, medium, connection and quantity, and only the contact detail needed to progress the enquiry.

We use service providers for email and website hosting, and for shipping and inspection where an order requires it. These providers process information on our behalf. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to an order are retained while there is a reasonable prospect of doing business and then removed. Records relating to orders are retained for as long as trade and tax rules require, which is typically several years.

Your rights

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted where we are not required to keep it. Write to sales@crcelectric.com with the request and we will respond.

International transfers

We are established in China and correspond with buyers worldwide, so information you send us will be processed in China. If your enquiry results in an order, shipping and customs documentation will necessarily be shared with carriers, forwarders and authorities in the destination country.

Security

This website is served over HTTPS. Access to the mailbox receiving enquiries is restricted to staff who need it. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, and we would ask you not to send confidential material beyond what is necessary for a quotation.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a revised date.
