Datasheets and technical documents
Documentation is part of the specification, not an afterthought. This page explains what can accompany an order and how to get it, so the documents arrive with the goods rather than being chased afterwards.
Why documentation is requested rather than published
Technical documents are only useful if they describe the exact configuration you are buying. A generic datasheet for a product family frequently covers variants with different ranges, interfaces and supply voltages, and quoting a figure from the wrong column is worse than having no document at all.
We therefore confirm the documentation against the configuration at quotation stage. Tell us which documents your process requires - a customer specification, a qualification checklist or a customs requirement - and we will confirm what can be supplied for the instrument being quoted.
Document types
- Technical datasheet
- Full specification, selection table and dimensional data for the configuration quoted.
- Installation and wiring information
- Terminal assignment, supply requirements and mounting dimensions.
- Compliance documentation
- Certificates and declarations applicable to the specific product, where they exist for it.
- Inspection documentation
- Third-party inspection reports such as SGS, arranged on request before shipment.
- Commercial documents
- Commercial invoice, packing list and the certificates your customs broker requires.
How to request documentation
- Send the requirement Model or specification, plus the list of documents your process requires.
- We confirm what exists Which documents are available for that configuration, and which have to be requested from the manufacturing partner.
- Documents are issued With the quotation where they are already available, or with the shipment where they are issued against the production batch.
Documents we cannot provide on request
Certificates and test reports are only ever issued for products that genuinely hold them. If an approval does not exist for a given item, we will say so rather than supplying a document for a similar product. That is why certification appears as “information required” on product pages where no certificate has been supplied to us.
